Our newly renovated and resurrected luxury guesthouse oozes charm and has an eclectic mix of old and new
A delight to the senses with the warm curves of yesteryear supporting the modern edges brought in to maximise the spectacular ocean vista from our spacious dining area and sea-facing suites.
This beautiful old heritage building was given a new lease of life by the local architectural design team of Stretford Holdings under Mike Street. The interior was guided by the creative eye of Petta Mc Lellan who ran her own successful interior design business in Johannesburg, who now also falls under the Stretford banner.
Doors re-opened on 8 December 2014 to a wonderfully busy and exciting Festive Season and straight from there to a full house with our “Hardcore Hampton” Iron Men and Women whom we look forward to hosting again in 2016.
We have 3 spacious Luxury suites which offer a little more seclusion and exude a calmness which is most welcome after a long day.
The 4 Sea-facing suites, en-suite and with air-conditioning currently being installed are beautifully appointed with French doors to a private balcony overlooking the Indian Ocean.
Our 6 Standard rooms are no less comfortable and two of these offer twin beds for convenient corporate travel. The other 4 rooms all offer Queen sized comfort and cosy sanctuary.
The two popular Self-catering suites are fully equipped for longer stays with kitchenettes and sleep four per unit very comfortably. The first has two bedrooms (King and two singles) and is completely private. The second is in the main house and has one King sized bedroom with a fold-out sofa in the open-plan living area. Breakfasts are available in the main diningroom upon request
Need to know
The guesthouse offers an outsourced laundry service, and we do have an ironing room for guests own use.
We have an elegantly modern styled eatery where our meals (primarily breakfasts) are served. The breakfast menu varies with a “breakfast of the day” detailed on the board. Standard options are available upon request. Alongside this is a generous buffet of cereals, fruit and yoghurt with a continental breakfast also available upon request. A permanent fresh juice and coffee station is constantly topped up for guests use. Lunches and Dinners are something the new management is planning to offer in the very near future.
